Dry Stone Walling in South Yorkshire

As the South Yorkshire branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA), we are dedicated to maintaining the art of Dry Stone Walling within South Yorkshire, and ensuring it plays a role long into the future.
Our branch is composed of both amateur and professional wallers.
Give a Gift that is a little different
Thinking about that special gift for a special person, something that provides gentle exercise in the outdoors?
Why not provide a new skill, by giving a gift voucher for an Introduction to Dry Stone Walling Course?
Our Introduction to Dry Stone Walling course offers intensive two day hands-on training to learn the basics of this ancient rural craft.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of purchase, and allow the recipient to attend any one of our Introduction to Walling courses in 2025.
Our Aims:
- Maintain our craft as a living tradition by running courses and events,
- Enhance skill levels via the DSWA/LANTRA system of examinations,
- Promote contacts between wallers and community organisations,
- Participate in charity events.
